PURITY
I wish that practising was not
So different from preaching
john Godfrey saxe, Wishing
Purity is defined in many ways by those who purpose to know exactly what it is. Such definitions
of purity are similar to definitions of sanity or normality. These states of mind have broad areas in which
the individual may be different but still within the range of any required practice and function. Purity
here is broadly defined as keeping strictly to the purpose stated. Thus, a person who wishes to join in the
above rituals will need to keep the definitions, methods, focus, goals, openness, etc., in mind and not
move away from them into the listed counter-indications. Moving away from the focus on the Tantra, the
ritual, the Path, is impurity.
The rituals, the Tantra, the Path is as defined here. These are not Catholic rituals, nor are they
Methodist rituals, and they cannot be Joe rituals. This is not Astrological Tantra, it is not Pranayama
Tantra, and it cannot be George Tantra. It is certainly permitted for anyone who wishes to set up a Path
of study based on Carol Tantra but that will not be THIS Path of study and will be a contamination that
will prevent the effectiveness of this Path from coming forth. Until the student joins this Path and moves
away from the past and from other Paths, they will be ineffective in their efforts and will contaminate
those who are moving into purity.
This is not to say that other Paths are not valid. Nor is it to say that Carol Tantra is not maybe a
better Path. This is up to the individual to determine. After all, I'm writing the book on this Path and
certainly believe in what is written here. Yes, that means I do believe it is possible that Carol Tantra
could be better, or any other Tantric Path. I have not found this to date and it is possible that this Path,
Kundalini Tantra is the best available at present, however, what is best for one person is not always best
for another so each must decide for themselves. When you have studied this Path and fully assimilated
the opportunities provided by the practice of the specific methods defined, it is certainly permissible to
start up your own Tantric study group and teach as you see fit. Please don't, however, do this after a quick
reading of this and a little "fairy magic" exercising to fluff through to the end of the books. You'll just be
embarrassed by your inability to accomplish what you say you are able to do.
Purity also comes from avoiding the influence of your first and second brain circuits. The first
circuit lives in fear and a need to dominate. This need to dominate represents a desire for security and is
passed on to the Ego (your second brain circuit) which has more ability to communicate and to demand
special treatment. You have only the first brain circuit, the Biosurvival Circuit, during your first year of
life. This circuit is very primitive and allows the child to survive but only with the help of adults. The
second brain circuit (the Ego) begins to function at about the age of 16 to 18 months. The Ego and the
Biosurvival brain circuits are the only brain circuits functioning until about the age of 5 or 6 years. At
that time, the Rational brain circuit begins to function and the child becomes teachable for complex
subjects including math, language skills, philosophy, sociology, and ultimately, anything the University
may offer.
Some problems with the first and second brain circuits are that they have serious needs for
domination and control, they live in fear and anger, and the Ego in particular is taught shame, blame, and
criticism. These two brain circuits are the source of the forbidden emotions outlined earlier. When
sexuality is dominated by the Ego, it becomes little more than an exercise in control and domination.
Little enjoyment comes from such selfish sexuality and the impurity involved is extremely damaging to
the Tantric who is learning to practice purity.
